Spring Fields, now not much seems to be going on down on the local farms which I drive past every morning and for weeks they seem to have just lay hidden behind twiggy hedgerows and a layer of snow or frost. But, similiarly to the snowdrops earlier this week these fields are starting to stir….or should I say be stirred. Yesterday morning I noticed a farmer with his tractor working away ploughing a field, nothing much to write about you’d think but then this morning I stopped and got out to look at the field and wow! To think that not that long ago men with heavy horses performed this feat of engineering! The only way to describe the field was a complete work of art! The perfect lines running horizontal and then vertical with immaculate furrows ready and waiting for seeds to be sown….rich earth turned skyward to the elements….Gods kitchen you might say!
